Padron is an excellent cigar, and the closest to a Havana that you're going to find. In some cases even better than a Havana.

The Padron family fled Cuba after the communists seized their family farm; warehouses, and cigar factory, and bank accounts.

The Padrons then settled in Nicaragua, and found a valley in which the soil was very much like that in Cuba. Their cigars are world famous and are well known for their thick rich smoke and exceptional flavor and aroma.
