Q: Why don't bass players like to play Hide and Seek?
A: Because no one wants to look for them.

A guy sat down next to a fellow passenger on a plane and said, hey, I've got a great joke about a bass player. The second guy says, wait a minute, I'm a bass player. First guy says, okay then, I'll tell it real, real slow.

we bash on our bass player. sometimes he plays..............i don't know what the hell he is playing actually. one time he couldn't remember the name of our national anthem. he doesn't drink at all. nice guy but sometimes he is in his own musical world far, far away from the one we are in. i've actually played his bass lines on guitar and he complimented me. i said "dude, thats what you are supposed to be doing". he liked it better when i did it. ???????????

I dunno. I got into drumming not too long ago, and it's a thrill- if the guys making those jokes had as much fun as I have playing the drums, they'd be telling guitar player jokes!

Actually I hear more jokes about the horn section than the drummer or electric bassist. We have this one sax player, talk about the poster child for A.D.H.D.

I never say anything bad about our drummer, he has a Glock 40.
