Good morning all. We had a bit of rain last night and it is now a soupy and humid start to the day. I've got the coffee on an Lucky Peterson is on Pandora. I will be leaving shortly to set up for my son's lacrosse tourney....go Red Dog's!!!!!!

I now have 300 clams burning a hole in my pocket so I am starting my quest to find worthwhile MIM stratocaster.......I am very excited about this proposition - wish me luck!

I hope you all have a great day wherever you are and keep those fret boards sssssmmmmokin'!!!!

Mornin' Beaubs, mornin' all. Sitting here with my first cup of coffee waiting for Mrs B to fix breakfast (it's her turn :D ). We had a little much needed rain overnight, and it's still showering off and on. I plan on spending some time tweaking some tones and patches today. I'll probably put in an order for strings later today.
Have a good day all, play till your fingers bleed :P .

Damn, you're up early! I'm starting 4 slabs of beef ribs smokin' to give to my son as his birthday present. Along with the ribs, I'll smoke two chickens and beef sausages (his family doesn't eat pork).

Morning all!

Very "soupy" grey day here. Hope the humidity goes down a but as we have outdoor activities starting with visiting grave site of my father-in-law at a national cemetery.
A 10 year Anniversary since his death. Time flies.

Followed by a cookout for all of the Family that came up for the occasion. Should be a good time and my Father-In-Law would have wanted it that way.

As for that $300 burning a hole in your pocket Beaubs...best of luck on finding a MIM that suits you! I'm on a similar hunt myself! 8) Though I've been thinking on buying a Tweed Amp kit too! Decisions decisions...

God morning, all. In fact here it is afternoon-and a sunny day- and my first day of vacation. Have been to the city and bought 3 sets of EB regular slinkies :) - and a rubber hammer for some fretwork - keep 'em smoking'
Wish you luck on the MIM , Beaubs!

Beaubs and Tyronne....feel free to send any amount of rain you want to us here at the Gateway...we have had 90 to 109 degree days here for almost a month now and could use a nice all day shower...so feel free!

Goodmorning back to all.

Greetings forumites,
It's one long foggy dank day, perfect reason to open a few guitar cases and increase the noise level. Beaubs is your Stratquest a platform for further mods search or more like
"show me what you got"?

The beef ribs, baked beans & potato salad are done and are in the fridge waiting for my son to come by after church.

Watching 'Jimi plays Berkeley' again, has me back to learning Jimi's songs again. I found my 'How to play 'Axis: Bold As Love' DVD http://tinyurl.com/7ybwaoc and started back learning the 'correct' way to play 'Little Wing'.
