Think this was free? Cost me a bloody fortune and millons of pounds of pain to come to this. Came up a poor kid and broke my lov'in arse learning how to be a player. Just my bloody luck of the draw that I'm not dead and buried instead of pushing this machine around town.

Hi Snowjoe: someone said EC's next Custom Shop Strat might have the same metallic red paint as that Ferrari, which I heard they mixed especially for him (for £3m? Why not?). In some of the other photos it looks even sexier - I don't believe they're doing it in aerosols down at Halfords yet...

Cheers - C

That would be a beautiful colour on a strat, even if I'm not the biggest fan of red. Unfortunately I think Halfords paint on a squier strat is more in my price range

 people have different opinions, I THINK its "moronic" to demand an apology for someones opinion. WE get it, you coddle poor people. you have said that many times over. but you will NOT convince those of us who disagree to do the same, and vice versa. especially not on a forum

honestly.... how often do you directly help the poor? that is how you should fight your battle. this back and fourth judgmental insulting is futile.
now get off your high horse and chill out.

No i don't coddle the poor but i have a sense of human decency and sympathy for their plight.

As far as convincing those who don't agree to do the same; i agree there's not much chance of that, however that's not why i'm highlighting this. You are not understanding what i'm meaning and where i'm coming from; i am trying to instill a sense of humanity in you that over the years seems to have been lost or eroded to the point you have no empathy for others in a less well off situation than yourself. That is the basic point in all of this.

As far as helping the poor again you are misunderstanding the whole issue and where we are talking about it and what we are actually talking about; the issue is not helping the poor, it's people mouthing off about poor sections of society and thinking they can do it with impunity. That is the issue. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, however when you make that opinion public and expose it to public scrutiny, like on an internet forum or anywhere else it's visible publically, you then must accept the consequences of your actions. It's like someone going on an internet forum and spouting race hatred or intolerance of !@$ people and the like; it's fine to hold those views privately but when they are broadcast you then leave yourself open to criticism and possible censure.

Which brings me back neatly to the point i made days ago; it would have been better if the guilty person who started this had kept his intolerant views to himself. That way there would have none of this.

As far as free healthcare; that should be a right of every citizen. The fact that certain sections of US society want to veto this, usually again the wealthy from the right of politics, says much. Most of the people criticising on here are probably right wingers so have an agenda. They feel because they have the money to pay for it that they don't want the poorest and weakest in society to have it.

A warped viewpoint however you look at it.

its all a matter of perspective, and healthcare is never FREE, someone pays for it. these claims of FREE healthcare are false. the cost is simply spread around among many. its just like a teacher forcing a student to share his snack.

I value your opinions as a person but badgering people will get you nowhere.

also your political views on a political system you have no part in, are usually going to have limited value among those it directly concerns.

but If you have a beef with someone PM THEM and stop derailing a thread that people are clearly trying get back on track

Hee-hee - Halfords have some nice reds. But not that nice...

If that particular Ferrari red ever becomes available to ordinary mortals I promise to immediately refin a Strat with it right here on the Forum. And then I shall probably go to bed with it.

Cheers - C

If you would actually spend half as much time really helping the poor as you spend playing this head game on your computer you might find that it will give you a true sense of being a better human being. That seems to me to be the personal affirmation you are striving for. JMHO!

The grigio silverstone was a production finish. I've seen Ferrari's on the street in that. Is this one as well or was it forumulated just for him? it will be interesting to see what FMIC will cost out in an LTD run of guitars in that color. MRSP on the last one was $3500.

I'm pretty certain they wouldn't believe it. I sort of doubt the people who own those cars do their own touch-ups.

Still. It'd be kinda funny to see Eric on his hands and knees in the street of a Sunday afternoon with the newspaper masking and a tin of red paint trying to take the stone chips out of his paintwork. If it happens I bet we'll get the photos posted on this thread...

Cheers - C

People were saying Ferrari mixed the red especially for him. Though it was also said Fender would be getting hold of some and doing a Strat to match - I have absolutely no idea if that's true. Mike Eldred would know...

Here's another photo. Oh baby...!

On this side of the pond, the present adminstration has made is clear that from each according to their ability to each according to their need is what they really believe. The Supreme Court has upheld the constitutionality of selected portions of the ACA on the grounds that it falls within the taxing powers of the Federal government. At the end of the day, the electorate in this country will decide who they want to go to bed with [i.e. who they want to f--k them] because it will happen one way or the other.

As it was said previously.."There's no such thing as a free lunch. Somebody has to pay. Neither the payee nor the payor gets away scot free. Each will have to do without something. The payee without something needed or the payor with less cash in the bank.

Time to move on!!
