I'm targeting this comment as a bassist but it may apply to other areas of the site. I can't help but wonder why I can't search for a bass by number of strings, pickup (or pickup combo), maple vs rosewood fingerboard, etc. I think it's ridiculous that my only search options are price range and product series. Fender needs to look hard at websites like Sam Ash (samash.com) for better examples of search.

I also think that I should be able to search across brands as well, so for example if I search for a 5-string bass with a maple neck, the search results should include Fender as well as Squier as well as anything else available on the site.
