Good morning all.....

Hanging out this morning listening to a bit of Steely Dan and sipping on a nice hot cup of coffee. Looks like a bit of a break from the current heatwave here in Minnesota......I am getting ready to head out for a round of golf with my pals. Later on I will fire up the Sweet Spot and rip out some blues on the G & L.

I hope you all have a great day. Don't forget to crank up those Fenders for everybody's enjoyment.......

Nice coffee been had this Saturday morning; now looking out the window at horrible weather. We are in the grip of a prelonged rain soaking of record-breaking proportions here in the UK: where I am we had three inches of rain just last night alone. Yikes!

It's indoor weather for sure - which means... guitars!

Welcome back.

Very Hot, Hazy and Humid here in Massachestnuts. Grass needs mowing but not in this weather. Been dealing with lots of wildlife lately. Have had black bears and wild turkeys coming thru the property. So surprised to see a bear one morning I started to go out the door to have a closer look. Stopped at the door and asked myself WTF are you thinking?

Decide to play guitar instead.

Mornin' all. I'm glad Beaubs is back with the lounge lizard posts, I missed them a bunch. Just got back from running errands with my wife, going to brave the heat and spray some roundup on a few spots, then it's time to play. (indoors, it's to darn hot outside)

Good morning guys. I'm on a trend of playing more acoustic than electric for now, must be the summer effect. I'm going to put a new set of strings today and get the max from them. Have a great weekend everyone.

Mornin' y'all,the weather here is hotter than a fox in a pepper patch...over 100 for about 10 days,everything is as dry as a bone.
We have an outdoor gig tonight on a Courthouse square in a neighboring county,"Keg county" is a nickname for reasons of the dubious honor of moonshining history...high heat,thirsty rednecks,we might be in for another eventful Tn. Saturday night gig!

Sun and clouds, 90° -- No end to the heat here . . . until mid-October.

Afternoon all,
Started out HHH today, now we are under a 4 hour storm watch with high wind and hail mentioned in the forcast.
Good day for some light guitar maintainance and a few hours playing time. Tyronne, may I suggest that you need the phone numer for Animal Control or who ever it is that cages those bears and relocates them back to the wld? Another 8 weeks or so and they will be looking for a place to hibrinate.

Good afternoon Beaubs and everyone.
I got up late again and it worked this time. 96 degrees and sunny. A cold snap I guess. Tomorrow it is projected to be in the 80's. Fall must be on it's way, lol.
Playing Ms Jackson always now, then Blackie, then my Bros Strat that I have for a time. It will be the progression until I can see a path towards a Fender V string bass guitar.
Great to see your post Beaubs! Play that G&L until it gets that blue glow Bro
