I decided to paint the project strat body, I do like the burst but my original plan was to lay a base colour down and then airbrush on top. I have the paint, all I need now is the space which means I need to roll the buggy outside.

If you put that buggy outside in this weather then in a about ten minutes flat you'll have a bathtub on wheels.

But the airbrush thing sounds seriously interesting. Do we get to see photos? Please?

What's your relation to Southampton Graphics, shaky?

Cheers - C

I was out there on Thursday (which was a comparatively dry day). It's great when you serve and the water spins off the ball in a beautiful arc as it flies across the court, don'tcha think? Some brilliant slides and falls to be done in the rain too. Tennis for real men. Retractable roof? Pah!

Cheers - C

The first time out out it rained and I made such a good job of the tub... it started to fill up. We now have drainage holes.

Airbrush: That's how I earned my living years ago.

I'm now senior lecturer and final year tutor on the graphic design course. I also build and run the website http://www.southamptongraphics.com

Ah, of course, yes: I remember now. You mentioned it once before, didn't you?

Those are nice pieces, both. Love those cherries - deep respect! Cannot wait to see what you do on a Strat body: you really must run us a nice thread about it, please. 8)

BTW, regarding the rain: I'm in Devon right now and we had three inches last night. Three inches! For f___'s sake, enough!

Cheers - C

Half of Northern Ireland has been under water this week. Someone must be angry about geology being taught at the Giant Causeway.

Hope it gets better for the Olympics or a lot of events will be washed out :(

This is the problem in holding outdoor sporting events in the UK; the weather is a total lottery

Apparently its the same problem, the Jet Stream is stuck too far south: You're stuck in sunshine and we're stuck with rain.

Perhaps I should plug up the drains in the buggy and fit a prop on the crankshaft pulley

Hey, that was quick. Thanks. Getting plenty of rain today. You can stop now.

Hey shaky, how'd that prop fit?
