I just ran across this video in the Gretsch guitar forum and immediately realized that it should have been posted here.
Enjoy....

I think of all the time, money and effort I wasted trying to become a guitar god when all I had to do was buy Larry Bill's "Country Leed Gitar Korse" instruc . . . instruc . . . instruc . . . teachin' video. Now I'm on my way to Faim 'n' Forchin.

I particularly liked the part about tuning, though I'm saddened by the amount of time and money I've wasted changing the strings on my guitars

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Great quote. I'll look up his blog...judging from this video, he is a very talented and funny man. He has so many great lines throughout the video...."if you ain't got no steel player in your band" with just the right amount of hesitation before the catch line "you're lucky".
Also the fast version of Wildwood Flower, the use of the effects pedal...a gem of a video
cheers,
Alex

You're welcome John.E...I've got my socket wrench set (metric up here, got to do the conversion to 11/16ths), but what I need is a pair of overalls and a bit of belly sculpting!
cheers,
Alex
