Click the Img button at the top and that will populate the screen then you have to get the URL or web address of the site that has the picture you want to put on. You copy the web address and then paste it between the Img tags on the screen.

When you get the pic off the web site right click your mouse and go to properties and it'll give you the URL you need to type in.

It's very quick and simple, it sounds complicated but trust me it's not.

Ah! right. You have to have a web address for it so you would have to upload your pic to Imageshack or one of those image hosting companies like that. Once you do that they issue you with a URL for your pic and you just copy and paste it in. You can join up for free on those sites. There's Imageshack and many more that i can't think of just now.

But you have to have your pic hosted on a net site somewhere to get the address you need. :)

ahhhaa,
OK, thanks Gorgon....
I thought it was simple like other sites I’m on and figured there was a browse button somewhere that i was not seeing....lol, so there’s a little more steps involved to add pix here…..
Thanks again, man :D …….

It's dead quick if you're just taking a pic off a web site but a bit trickier if it's something you want to upload from your own machine.

No real problem though once you get used to it.

Another way you can do it is start up a blog of your own just to host any pics you want to upload. Load it to the blog then you already have the pic hosted on your own blog so you don't need an image hosting service if you do that. Of course you have to register the new blog but that takes seconds.

Just mark the blog as private and no one else gets to view it, if you're just using it as an image hosting thing.

Just another idea of how you can do it.

PS. are you meaning adding in a pic as part of a post or are you meaning adding in a pic as your avatar?

Yeah that's fine, it's just the way i described it then in the posts.

For some reason you can't upload an avatar picture anymore :( don't know why.
