A mustang 1 is great for playing at home. It will never be a collectible and it wouldn't last on the road but for what it is ( a cheap, versatile, cut rate amp ) it's hard to beat. Don't buy too much into the tube hype. A tube amp cost far more money and it ain't going to make you sound any better. (let the backlash begin).

For guitar, I recommend lots of try before you buy.
