Yes here we have it in Scotland, high summer as i look outside and it's so gray and miserable the weather it looks like a scene from the middle of winter

Anyone else on the board here that stays in a place where you get crap weather even in summer?

I wish i stayed in southern California.

Anymore of this crap and i'm emigrating i'm not joking :x

Just south of london, and it's reasonably warm, got up to around 22 or so today. Unfortunately it's also very humid and cloudy...

ever had HOT rain? I would trade your weather for the Texas extremes instantly. we get weather swings from the mid 60°'S TO 90°+ In the same week. and it will rain while in the 90s.... its like having tea poured on you with all the steamy humidity and its hell on your hair

this is in Fahrenheit. in Celsius it would be 18° to 36° and peak at 39°

Well at least it's clear here in the Houston, TX area, but 100+ degrees F is not fun. Kinda weird having a north wind in June. Supposed to shift from the south later in week and cool off to the mid 90s.

I have always disliked the Texas heat, and usually the humidity is so thick you could cut it with a knife.

the weather here in the last few weeks has been Hotter than our nieghbours to the south...but the rough part is the humidity and the air quality...it just gets so thick it doesn't wanna move :!: :!: :!:

Nice pics of the night sky there 8) Yeah i know what you mean about getting baked in the sun day in day out but i'd like us to get a good summer every second year or so like that.

BUT, on the other hand, i can't stand it at night; when you go to bed and can't sleep because everything's all hot and humid and you feel terrible :?

Oh that would just be too warm. I couldn't cope with that, no way. See we're just not used to that kind of heat in the UK, especially up north here. It's warmer down south and London area can get pretty warm. Not Texas warm mind you!

You guys that stay in really warm climes must have air conditioning in your homes though?

Most of us don't have that 'cos we rarely ever get weather warm enough for that. Some people might have air con but most don't i don't think. So if you do get really warm weather the heat just builds until at night the rooms are really warm and uncomfortable.

It's been pretty warm here (for us that is!) but raining a lot. A lot of flood warnings goin' out :(

I would lose my mind without central air  my electric bill last month was $274 because of it  . it must be so much cheaper to live without keeping the inside of your house cool  my wife has a friend that taught middle school in Oman for a year and she said it got up to 118°f there and most people do not have AC.

Our summer weather is always mild in comparison with the rest of the state because I'm in the high desert at an altitude of 4980' MSL. It's sunny nearly every day though periodically punctuated by seasonal monsoon rains from late June through mid September.

It can get pretty hot here in Pennsylvania, but we also get a lot of rain. I prefer Fall to Summer anyway. Not a huge fan of 90+ degree weather.

Hey Gorgon, I am about 180 miles North East of you on the coast. Here in ABerdeen we generally get 4 seasons in 1 hour and those four seasons are normally autumn, winter, spring and autumn...........

With the North Sea wind we very rarely get above about 12 degrees C even in the summer. I have to say this last week has been particularly pish with more rain than I have seen in years.........

Bloody summer.........humph!

 I feel your pain mate. Would be nice to get a summer with wall to wall sunshine :P Never happens for us here does it?

It's been a real bad one here today, pouring rain and you'd have sworn it was winter

End up with that bloody S.A.D syndrome due to lack of sunlight, and that's in the summer :P
