i think you have a perfect sound for the type of music you play. i like it. raw and in your face with a good tone. all strings ringing nicely. 2 bands come to mind. ramones and ac/dc. don't be offended. i love both bands and i am in no way an expert on guitar tone. i just now what i hear and i dig your sound and style.

Thanks guys!

If I remember correctly, both The Ramones and AC/DC tend to be loud, raw, and in your face, and they did in fact, use loads of speaker power. :D

Thanks for listening!

Buxom, don't put yourself down like that, there are plenty of people that will do that for you and I don't think your sound is sub-par. It is at least par  .

Just my take and I'm an old man, sorry little brother, I think your way off if you ever want to play music that people would want to enjoy listening to.

WAY too much distortion, WAY to much treble and did I mention clipping?

Sorry man, it sucks.

Try playing clean and S L O W E R.

we've been here, he doesn't want to play slow or clean.and if he likes fast and gritty, let him do that.

The only way he is going to learn, is by being honest.

Sorry, it sucks!

Not that I've got anything against clean playing, but it's hard to find a tone that I hear as "correct" with cleans. I enjoy some cleans and all, but really, I was meant to play dirty. Our tastes are most likely completely different as well. Nothing against you or you bashing me, considering you've probably got many years over me, and probably have had proper, hands on, lessons. I'm just saying that there should be room for everyone to play the way they want to play, drawing a different audience, considering there's taboo from every angle.

Thank you for your feedback, much appreciated.

buxom: your playing is you, it's your personality behind it, follow your heart and don't listen to anyone who criticizes you. It's a totally individual thing. Plus i'm with you on the clean sounds, clean is overrated IMO. The most exciting sounds for me are always cranked up one's.

I think you should get yourself a band- could be nice to hear this in a bigger context ,then perhaps it's easier to understand what you are up to , musically :D

It takes some balls to post your recordings so I give you credit for that. It seems like I can hear what you are going for even if the quality of the recording "sucks". I consider myself a fan - hell I even covered one of your tunes
