We had some fantastic weather here in the northeast today. I'd give it a "One of the ten best days of the year" status.

Its strange to think the northern hemishphere's in summer. Such a weird world

11 C here, cloudy and foggy. Everyone considers cold, cloudy weather to be miserable, but I actually think its better than warm, sunny weather. Winter just gives me such a vibe compared to the hotter months :)

Sorry... I had some trouble making this post. I had to put it out there about how nice the day was as it was also a day of family duty as we spread my fathers ashes on the lake where I grew up. He had a love for sailing and that love began on that lake. He also gave playing guitar a try but never got past playing "Harvest Moon". I now have that guitar. It's a 3/4 scale nylon string acoustic from about 1974 or so, an Avalon guitar. This guitar is built like a tank and somehow survived being in the attic of his house in florida. The action is a bit high and I could bring it down by sanding the bridge but it's not high on my list at the moment.

I miss my father and think of him every day. He was a remarkable and well liked man who had a zest for life. His guitar will be well taken care of and I hope my 8 year old son develops a desire to learn how to play with it.

11°C and cloudy, that is what we call a decent summer weather where I am from, in fact that is what we are having right now but with the sun breaking through the clouds. 8)

May your Father rest in peace Arc. I also got a nylon acoustic from Dad, although he's still with us. I'm sure you'd rather have him back. My sympathies to you mate.
The weather in Tasmania is windy and what we Aussies refer to as cold. A beautiful day nevertheless.
Goodonya ...Mark.

Arc, so sad about the passing of your Father. It's nice that you had good weather to lay him to rest. Best wishes to you and your family.
