there are only 2 pots. So there is space for another pot. Or a rotary switch. Is it possible to wire the humbucker to the rotary switch (4 way) and get this modes: 1: coils in series (normal humbucker), 2 : coils in parallel, 3 : North coil, 4: South coil. To help you a little bit : here is a 6 way rotary switch used:
