Sample on youtube: The Black-Man's Burdon: Eric Burdon & WAR The whole album is worth a purchase though in my view.

Who else gets a kick out of this 30.000 volts music? I know it's mostly covers but how they arranged it, I'm surprised the mixing console didn't explode...

Cheers -

Nutter

Oh, yeah baby! I had the double album set on vinyl too.

I also saw Eric Burdon and War live in late '70 here in Dayton, OH at The Hara Arena http://www.haracomplex.com/, the opening acts were 'Haystacks Balboa' http://youtu.be/CHhB7RoCkG8 and Rod Steward and The Faces.

My brother Larry Houston (he works for Roland) plays with the Howard Scott version of WAR

And, I've met, and had dinner with Lee Oskar
