Well to me there is the Beatles and then there is everyone else. Hands down the greatest band ever who were always miles ahead of everyone else and the first to do just about everything. It is mind boggling that thy were together for 7 years and broke up 40 years ago and yet can release something and still sell 5 to 10 million units in this day and age which should say it all.

I love every period and even those who claim the first few albums were very popish you have to compare it to what was out at the same time. Was there ever a band that matured and changed the face of music with every new album released-NO.

Absolutely agree!! They took the whole music world on their creative trip.
