Hi guys, got a question regarding wiring......

I have been given a guitar to do a basic pickup swap. It has a single coil in the neck and a coil-tapped HB in the bridge. A mini selector switch to choose neck or bridge and a push/pull tone knob for the coil tap.

The single coil is just a straight swap, easy enough, and insted of the HB I am putting in a P90, again easy enough, and I was just going to leave the push/pull pot making the coil switch function redundant but as I was checking the guitar out I thought about making the pull switch a way to select both pups at once as it desn't have this option with the mini switch......

How doable is this? Tried going through my books but can't find anything that would resemble it directly...............

It's easily doable.

You can do this with either the neck or bridge pickup, the choice is yours. Once you've made your selection, run a wire from where you have its positive terminal on the mini switch to the middle left terminal on the push/pull pot. Next, run a wire from the top left terminal on the push/pull pot to the terminal or the volume pot that the mini switch is wired to. That's it.
