As an old fan , I just HAVE to watch the telly for hours now. Tho I had other plans, I certainly will stay by the TV. McCartney soon turns 70, and the Norwegian Broadcasting is sending related things for 4 hours this night
(without commercials ) Starting out with a documentary from the Beatles first trip to America. Seems to be quite interesting

Yes, we never get anything like that here in the States. I'm hoping one of the local PBS stations will do a Beatles special in 2014 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of their first visit to Miami . . . but I'm not holding my breath.

That was a great and moving movie , I think Actually , they showed parts of the Ed Sullivan-show in Miami
