I put them on my Tele and took them off after a few days. My Tele has hot P90's, (11.5K and 14.5K). The cobalt strings seem to add some volume, and the crunch was too much, so I took them off.
I have a set on my Strat now, but I haven't played it through an amp yet. I'll try to do that this weekend. They feel nice. Some guys say they bend easier, but you're only talking about the D,A, and low E strings, and I rarely bend those. I'll let you know how I like the sound on the Strat, but unless they sound mystical or something, I probably won't spend the extra money again.
I'd say if you had a guitar with low output pups, the cobalts might give an extra kick to it and might be worth it. I'm a string junkie, so I might try a set on my LP just for the hey of it. I hadn't thought about that till just now.

Thanks. I have seen on other Forums where they add more volume. I have picked up a few sets to try on a couple of different guitars.

I'm still looking for other's input on these strings.

Hey Chet they sound best on Humbuckers. I have them on my Gadow with a JB in the bridge and a Jazz in the neck. They really cook. The tone is darker but you can work that with the tone knob. They feel great but may take a little longer to stretch out. I put them on one of my Strats with vintage noiseless single coils. It was a little too hot for my tastes so I dropped the pick up height a little and it smoothed it out some. They do not have the chime that you would get from nickel strings so you might not like them on single coils. They seem to be designed more for the metal or fusion players who like alot of sustain and distortion. I'd be interested to know what you think after you try them. Try em on that LesPaul you posted on your Facebook page... :)
