I was born and raised in a small town called South Haven on beautiful Lake Michigan located in the south western part of the state. http://www.southhaven.com/

If you can't figure out my current general location, you might want to google "The Gateway to the West" and find out some of that history class you have forgotten!

And Martian that was a classic

I live about 200 km's NE from Melbourne in a rural city called Benalla, with a population of about 7500. I live pretty much right next to the farm land, so I guess on the outskirts of the town.

This was taken near the river. Keep walking about 100 metres or so and you'll hit endless stretches of paddocks with only one or two trees in them. I often hang out in isolated areas near the river

I remember your pictures. It's a great place. Not that Mars isn't, I've never had the opportunity to visit.

I live in the outskirts of a small town. Heck, we don't even have sidewalks, it's quiet here in my part of Pennsylvainia.

Hello, oxfan. I divide my time between here -

I feel equally at home in both places.

Crikey. Are we at crossed purposes or are you talking about Manze's pie and mash shops? If so, that's an amazing piece of local knowledge about my town for a guy from Pittsburgh - I'm impressed! There's hidden depths to you, oxfan. 8)

So happens I live about 200 yards from Manze's Peckham branch. Gotta admit, the jellied eels are not for me. But the pies are great!

Staying tuned - C

Chavs?

I've been living the past nine years in a similar place across the pond in Newport, Rhode Island. I'm not sure about teen pregnancy, but in the summer it's full of what's probably the American equivalent to chavs. Them, and the wealthy vacationing in their summer homes. I'm here because my girlfriend's (whom I play music with) mother owns a summer house here and I help her take care of the place off season. Plus, it's centrally located between New York and Boston.
