I play mostly clean, country, blues, Skynyrd. My Boss Blues Driver BD-2 just showed up, haven't hooked it up, and I have GAS.

Delay.. It can be as useful as reverb. Especially for solos.

I would go for delay also. Chorus is way too "80's" and so overused... A delay can do all sorts of things, from a very mild thickening of the sound, to a nice rockabilly slap-back echo, to a spacious, time delayed, doubling effect.

I also vote for delay, if you have to pick one. It's probably just a tad more useful for the types of msic you like to play.

I actually like a good chorus sound, too. But keep in mind I am an unabashed child of the 80s (my first-ever rock album was the Police's Synchronicity). :)

Another one for delay. Much more useful i'd say than chorus. Chorus is nice as well though but delay's better.

I agree with Gorgon and Schnepf13...if I had to choose between the two, I'd choose delay...especially a multitype delay with tape, digital, ping pong, ducking, reverse and stereo..... 8)

Guess I am in the minority here, but just a small dash of chorus is great...just resist the urge to twist that knob!

Thanks guys

I ended up ordering the Rogue. The reasons are is I don't use effects very much, and it was cheap.

I set a small amount of analog delay and just leave it on. It's such a crutch but I can't deny how nice it sounds.

I used to be a big advocate for chorus, however, if I have to choose between delay or chorus...it's delay hands down.
