had 'The White Album' been half as long and all the best songs kept, it would have been by far the best album The Beatles released.

I'm only sleeping and in my life are just about my two favourite Beatles tracks...but then other begin popping into your head like something, while my guitar gently weeps, and your bird can sing, I saw here standing there and the list goes on and on! Just goes to show what a great band they were. In my eyes at least! :)

Today my favorite happens to be...

Talking Heads - Remain In Light


There is literally nothing about this album that isn't perfect. Every single song is about as good as music can get.

Not in my top 5, but worth a mention: Dimmu Borgir is a decent band imo. I play their stuff during Halo LAN parties.

I'm surprised somebody named Dire Straits' first album. That one has got to be in my Top 5. Fantastic music, amazing guitar playing.

It's hard to choose my all-time favorite though. Thick as a Brick by Jethro Tull is up there. I was also thinking Highway 61 Revisited by Bob Dylan. But I think my absolute favorite is Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys. Every song is just great and it just flows perfectly. Very innovative album that I'll never get tired of hearing.

this is exactly why I fallow the beatles. this is why I love them so much. they didn't write many bad songs. and when they did, they failed with style. :lol:
