Looks like too much rust to me. The body work would be expensive and a pain in the neck. Restoring a car like that is an expensive and tedious job. I wouldn't touch it if I were you.

Taking an auto class would be very cool though, especially if you're a gearhead.

coincidentally, my mom offered me her mini van today when she buys a new car when I graduate. Honestly, minivans are alpha vehicles.
