I don't think asking for donations is allowed here.

Welcome to the Forum IKA. Interesting story, your band sounds Ok. A 14 year old saving up for a Fender bass guitar is familiar for this Forum. Keep up the good work and you will have the money for your dream bass guitar. Post a photo when you do, we love photo's here.

Cool hat IKA, I've always liked the Thunderbird body style, thanks for posting the pic and the video.

Dear Fender,

...there's a Custom Shop Telecaster I've had my eye on for a while. I'm 51-years old, retired, and havin' a good time. The likelihood of me having enough money to buy a Custom Shop tele anytime soon is...as good as winning the lottery, writing a catchy song that sells,...or inheriting money. If you have a Custom Shop Telecaster laying around that nobody's buying, instead of it collecting dust, send it to me. I'll take good care of it. ...if I win the lottery, write a catchy song that sells, or inherit money, I'll send you whatever it was worth at the time you sent it to me. ...but, that should be pretty cheap...it's a custom shop that's been sitting around and nobody's buying so it doesn't have any value anyways. But, to be realistic, you can attribute whatever price you want up-front giving me 30-days to make-up my mind to keep it or not.

Thank you!

Regards,
RCB-CA-USA

Might I suggest than working night and day to buy a bass, play the one you have and focus on your studies. You have a descent bass to practice and play so enjoy it. One doesn't need expensive guitars and basses to enjoy the music or sound good. When you start making money off your music it will be easier to justify an expensive bass such as the one you want.

Learning about proper English and other studies is far more important at your age. These are skills that will take you a heck of a lot further than playing a bass.

I don't mean to try and tell you to abandon the dream of owning a dream guitar, just trying to say you don't need it right now, there are more important things to focus on.

Now that I've said that I am sure that people around here will jump all over me and tell me learning things like English just isn't that important.

Why would he need to learn proper English. Not knowing it never held any American back?

Play the Thunderbird IKA, it's a very nice guitar. Work for what you want but really don't chase after things so much. They are never as good, when you actually get them, as the dream of owning them suggests.

You got that right! Do tell me, if you can, what language they speak in pubs across the pond. I sometimes can barely understand a word. I hope when I was referred to as the ruddy sod it was a good thing as everyone laughed and smiled. :?

Nice work! for looks alone, I'd actually prefer the Thunderbird to the Duff guitar
