Last night I put on 'B.B. King 'Live in Africa- 1974' to play along with, this one of B.B.'s best live concert DVD http://tinyurl.com/6peyevj.

The concert was part of the pre-fight celebration before then-heavyweight champion George Forman and former world champion Muhammad Ali. King's core band was augmented by session players.

One such player was guitarist Larry Carlton http://larrycarlton.com/wordpress/ who was playing from charts. B.B. didn't even know his name.
