what is a good set of saddle to replace my old ones i got a blacktop tele with a string thru six strat-like saddle bridge

what type of tone are u looking for? brass saddles give a slighty mellower tone where stainless gives a brighter tone...

Since it's highly distorted thru effects, the subtleties of pressed steel saddles, versus brass versus stamped steel will be lost.....
If you played clean then you would hear a difference but for metal heads, it's a wash... :lol:

The subtle differences in saddles manifest in subtly different distortions...dark, bland, balanced, bright, metallic.
