I am a sick sick man....... But I am ok with it  I look at death and tradition a bit differently than most. A persons experiences can change their outlook over the years.

Nah I didn't find it funny either. I'm no real cat enthusiast but don't dislike them. And I know the cats dead already. But is that really the way to treat the corpse of a pet?

I'd never do it to one of my cats, but it's the facial expression that got me.

Tasteless and disgusting. Interesting that it's mainly the youngsters here who find this amusing. Not enough perspective in their lives yet, I guess.

 youngsters! A sick outlook has nothing to do with age  some of us just never grow up..... and I happen to hate cats......... the prissy, fur ball hacking, always crapping in your house shoes little bass turds

its especially sad when your significant other spends more on "its" medical bills than their own  she complains about the co pay for meds, but as soon as the cat shows any sign of illness she is racing to the vet swiping the plastic  Cats.......

But if my guitars could get ill I would do the same I guess......

This is one of the many reasons why I want to leave society and live in the wild; The arrogance its implanted in our minds. This is a crude reflection of what 'society' is coming to.
I didn't find it funny, but I didn't find it offensive. I just found it downright idiotic.

I think it has more to do with the fact that some people who have grown up with the internet will be more used to this sort of thing and find it less shocking. Just like people today wouldn't find the original dracula movie frightening.

Not that I'm defending anyone who found it amusing.

also the way people were raised plays a larger factor.
I grew up in the country, we were poor and when your pet got sick you shot it. ( it was humane) when you ate chicken or any meat for that matter, you killed it first.
I actually find it funny people are offended by this. I guess having been around the death of animals out of necessity, I just don't care  its not like it is alive.....
I feel the same about dead body's in general. I worked in a hospice care facility as maintenance for a few years growing up and after being next to people dying you aren't bothered by it anymore.
A dead body is empty, whats it matter whats done with it afterwards?

If you cant laugh about the inevitable, your left miserable.

just my views, don't flame me

My great grandpa, who is in his mid 80s, would probably find this funny. About 5 years ago, he hid a fart machine in a public restroom while we were out to dinner and had fun. He's just that type of person.
