I think that the Remicade infusions have finally started to work-slowly-but they are working it appears. As each day goes by I can play a bit longer and somewhat better but it's going to be a long haul as the progress is going at a glacial pace.I tried Machine Gun and Voodoo Child(slight return)today and couldn't get my fingers to cooperate at all as they get quite tangled when I attempt faster riffs, pull-offs and hammer-ons.It's so frustrating not being able to play songs that were almost second nature to me and that I could do with ease, this really gets on my nerves but I guess that's what I have to put up with to get the old mitts back in shape and fit enough for gigging.

All the best luck to you there.

I live in mortal dread of anything happening to my hands. And the inability to do what you know what you could do at one time without even raising a sweat, must be incredibly frustrating.

Have you thought about switching to slide? The open tunings would certainly make chording so much easier, and you still wail leads but in a slightly different way..

Derek...Great news. Glad the Remicade is working...just remember slow and steady wins the race, you'll be "Machine Gunning" before you know it!
