I took some junk closed cell packing foam from work and cut a large rectangular piece out of it. I then cut a neck rest and hot glued it to the other piece. I then took an old towel and cut it up to fit and hot glued it to cover the foam. I think it turned out OK and it's large enough to hold a bass too. Now to make one for a friend of mine who has helped me a lot over the years with all things guitar related.
