Perhaps the one person who knew all three of em decided that she was the better person to pick to run the show.

Yeah, that's my feeling too, & I'm not trying to convince anyone otherwise, you see, back in the early '90s I was a member of the anti-Janie coalition. There was underground movement to sue her via mailed newsletters.

Since I worked in a research lab, I had access to computers before they became mainstream in homes. When MSN started started in '95 I was a beta tester (I still have my t-shirt) & the host of the Monday blues chat. Janie started joining the chat sessions, and posting on other sites. I also had private email conversations with her and her passion for preserving Jimi music was very real.

Than she hired a guy I knew that was a well known Hendrix collector, he still works at EXP-H. So I got a little insider knowledge of info.

As I posted before, one of the first things she did was place Mitch Mitchell, Noel Redding and Billy Cox on a 'salary'. Mitch & Noel both had signed away their rights to any sells of Jimi's recording for $100,000 each back in the '80s to the lawyer Ms Hendrix sued to back Jimi's rights.

Billy Cox didn't get a dime, he had went back to fixing TVs in Nashville. I saw him '71, when he was playing bass for Charlie Daniels, after the show I talked with him for a little while, he was just getting 'by'. Now he has a health plan, etc and doing very well.

Someone had to take control of the company, and I'm glad she & Robert Hendrix did.
