That's one pretty bass, you should do more focusing on that.

Why? it's a nice case. With a little bit of work, it could be fully usable again.

Oh its useable now....the case is the guitar's home and I take it to all the gigs, it works great...no flaws and 100% operational...but no keys either, but that's to be expected....I was thinking that if it is valuable to someone who knows their gear, it might disappear...I wouldn't want that. My gear has disappeared before....This would be irreplaceable.

Is it a G&G? if so, you can probably have new keys made for it.

Not at all, sadly. But I think Fender cases had the duck foot shaped leather pully thing to open the storage in the case. I'm not sure of that exactly, but I think. I'd contact someone who knows how to make keys, as I'm no expert in the field of locksmithery.

The had two Geddy Lee Jazz basses....One took a spill after a show, and the body was pretty badly damaged. I bought a Mighty Mite body to replace it, dropped some Seymore's in it with an upgrade on high output caps, added a vintage bridge and other extra's and covers, all on a Sonic Blue finish. I chose Sonic Blue because I have always liked the color and it is fairly rare for a Fender Jazz bass finish. The guitar virtually plays itself. It has really low action and great harmonics, but I have a great tech too...
