Here's my newest noise maker.

I've always regretted the loss of my Uni-Vox Super Fuzz. This one comes close. I wonder if the Wattson would have come closer? Time to have some fun and annoy my neighbors at the same time.

As reported earlier, I am a fan of both fuzz AND modulation pedals. This one is even newer than the one above -- a Uni-Vibe clone from Wilson Effects -- the Haze Vibe. These are the last toys for a while as my disposal income has just been cut. I'll have to curb my GAS for the forseeable future.

Just came in last night so I'm still putting it through its paces. Will log some hours this weekend with it and the Super Fuzz together and do some Trower. I didn't want to drop a lot of money on a vibe pedal so it was this or the Voodoo Labs Micro Vibe.

If you've been researching this pedal, then you've probably already seen this demo with the Haze and the Wilson BC109 OD, but to my ears, this is what it sounds like.

BTW - Got it on sale for $127 and change at Prymaxe. Check 'em out at http://www.prymaxevintage.com/

tbazzone,

Had some misgivings last night, but after giving it a few hours this morning, I find I'm liking it more and more. I A/B'd it with a $50 Dano Cool Cat Vibe and I thought the Cat had more "wobble" which I prefer. The Haze throbbed evenly, almost too evenly if you know what I mean. Turns out I had the rate a bit too high. Slow the rate down (left of 12:00) and the wobble kicks in. That's what I get for adjusting it with my feet.

Also, added some fuzz. Tried the Analogman Peppermint Fuzz, but it didn't provide enough sustain. The Black Cat Super Fuzz worked really well when you find that spot where the sustain is long but the distortion doesn't drown out the effect. Will try it with a Tube Screamer later today.
