We should organize regional Jams. Everybody get together with others in thier area to Jam and have Clinics and what not. Make it for all ability levels.

It can't be much harder than organizing a guitar contest, Guitar center does that every year. Imagine how much more popular an activivty that everybody could participate in would be.

I agree, and you know if you advertise it you will find lots of bassists, drummers etc to back the guitarists up

I hosted a Fender Jam at my home last year. To be honest the turn out was not great but for the few who did show up there was a good time had. Had 1 drummer, 1 bass player and 1 guitar player plus myself. This was in the DC area.

If we set the Jams up in major Tourist Towns with Airports like Laughlin, NV, Atlantic City NJ, Chicago Il, Biloxi MS, or even New Orleans LA, I bet the turnout would be pretty good. More than one attraction, and if we do it in the Off Season, it's realativley cheap.
