Looks cool! Fortunately, I have a Fender dealer just down the street so it'll be easy to pick up my copy.

That's just what I figured schnepf13, another teachers pet. Please don't tell me if you live a quick walk from a Dairy-Queen, lets keep some semblance of order here on the forum! I mean some "licks" we don't need to know about... :D

but naturally the main initial point here is to get folks to head into a dealer, pick up the magazine, and hopefully purchase 3 Stratocaster guitars and a Fender amplifier in the process! (Just kidding.)

Hmm I won't be greedy--but if you can give me the money I'll settle for a Pawn Shop Mustang, and a J Bass & Strat (even a Squier CV or VM on those last two will do), and for an amp the Excelsior.

(Just kidding as well--but if you actually want to give me anything in addition to the magazine--that's a start...)

Damn,

Makes me wish that I live in Latvia or Eastonia and not the "Outback".

How come OZ doesn't make the list ?

Brad..Will there be a surcharge if you only pick up 3 Strats and an Amp.. :?:

Great...From what I just saw of the Teaser PDF I cannot wait till they are available..
Why did it take so long...?

Will there be a travel section, a section which focuses on different parts of the Fender world around the globe... :?:

Also will there be a readers contributions section :?:

Thank You

Hey Harry, don't feel so bad! It's true I've got a nice guitar shop down the street, but I'd trade that in for this view in a second!

Cody looks like a nice place, though I imagine it IS a long walk to the nearest DQ! :)

Hey schnepf13,

Cody is a beautiful place indeed with really great people. Why not jump in the car and cruse on down here and give a concert? We have a bandshell in the park downtown and guess what, the Dairy Queen is right down the street!!! :)

I downloaded the PDF version of the Fender Magazine and it is really well done and its great Fender is doing this. I've also been amazed how active the Fender Forum is and how great the people have been. Present company excluded of course... 8)

I have unfortunately experienced very little of the U.S. west of the Mississippi, so perhaps it's time to make that road trip! I'll be sure to look you up if I ever make it to Cody -- we can meet over some Blizzards at the Dairy Queen. 8)

Steve

My nearest dealer is an airplane ride away, so picking up a copy just won't happen. I too hope that it will be available online, although that isn't quite the same as holding the physical copy of the mag!

Got mine reserved at the Guitar Center a few miles away. I have to drive by that GC everyday with the occasional stop (at least weekly) to take in the eye candy.

Another vote for a PDF version here, sure beats sending copies to Australia, assuming we can get copies.

I still have all my old Frontline mags from 10 years ago 8)

I have mine reserved but the worst thing is that when I get it I'll no doubt be afflicted with another massive GAS attack that will cause a big riff with the Missus.
