The title says it all. Enjoy it how ever you like, because without the sacrifices and struggles of our brave men and women, things might be very different. If you see a vet make it a point to thank them for their service.

To all the vets on the forum I say THANK YOU!!!

As an Army veteran who spent 13 long months in Vietnam, I think every day of the friends I had, many from high school, who did not make it back home. Though it has been over forty years now, I still miss them.

Especially on days like today.

As long as you have a conscience you'll never forget those friends you had. The service of you and your friends is appreciated.

I'm a Navy veteran and served during peacetime. I have mixed emotions about Memorial Day because it lumps all veterans into the same category. Although I am proud of the service I did, I Personally don't see how I could ever deserve the same recognition as that of a war time veteran.

You might be thinking of Veterans Day, since Memorial Day is about honoring those who died while serving.

Tons of respect to all of the soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

I was thinking of Veterans Day. I stand corrected. Thank you.

I'll just say "thanks" to the families of those who sacrificed all on behalf of the nation. By comparsion, we veterans who survived deprivation and hardship paid but a small price.

Hand salute to all my brothers in arms who gave all.

RIP

Arjay
