I have the cab circled in red.

Anyways, I love it. But I'm kind of wondering about other people's experience with KMD, and wondering how good they really are, and why they've become so hard to find. Anyone wanna answer?

I'm also looking for a KMD head, but they rarely, if ever pop up.

LMAO.....

I knew I recognized that guitar but couldn't quite pinpoint who or what until I googled and the wiki bio popped up with none other than " Slade " a band I have not heard in a very long time...

Nice Call Niki...

But... But... Bon Jovi amp stuff. Anyways a head popped up on eBay and I made an offer to trade my Crate head for it. Wish me luck.

The KMD amps were all re-cased Proamps, built in the UK. I know there were a couple of small differences, but if they're anything like my Proamp Venom, I'd buy as many as you can find!

The Venom is all solid state, but is very tubelike in that if you want low volume overdrive, you're out of luck, you have to crank it to get the best tones, and I've probably had more compliments on my tone from guitarists in the audience when using the Proamp than most of my tube amps. It's my go-to amp for smaller gigs now, really nice bit of kit, and the build quality is immense, not to mention the quality of components - Caps the size of EL84s stuck out the bottom of the chassis, massive transformers and heatsinks, well laid out board. A proper solid state amp built with pretty much no regard for cost. Probably why the company went bust.

Had an all-tube Proamp VSQ65 for a while in the early 90's - lovely amp. I tend to buy anything with the Proamp badge on sight these days, as I love them to bits, and they're getting pretty rare.

I hope I get this thing, if what you're saying is true. The Crate has great tones and flexibility, but I'm willing to bet this KMD would blow it away.

I think I saw Noddy on a game show.
What was that song about the old racehorse?
