well the little Squire Tele that I keep in the garage for those days when me and a buddy are working their car, was looking pretty sickly :? so I decided to give it a makeover due to some inspiration from an older post.

I think it looks allot better without the grease stains :lol:

Did the tone change? I was thinking about doing this with an old pair of Levi's.

I really didn't notice a big change, but it had a 1mm thick paint shell to begin with :lol:
it doesn't sound worse, but it never sounded fantastic to begin with. that's kinda why it was the shadetree mechanic picker :wink:

That's a really cool idea! Loving the look of that tele.
I would expect the tone to change, but it's even cooler due to the fact that it doesn't!
