Yeah, I recorded some more shizz at school today, which I got out of maths for, which is a bonus.
The vocals are REALLY bad, and I'm not just saying that so you say, 'Oh Riley dont be so hard on yourself, there good!!'. I admit I do need to work on my vocals alot.
I wrote the lyrics and the melody at 3 AM last night (or this morning?...), and the lyrics are really supposed to be mumbled. I would right the lyrics in this post, but I cant be stuffed.

Neil Young was quite akin with the Grunge movement - you'll get some inspiration form his stuff. Give it a listen - he would love your guitar sound!

He's been on my albums-to-buy list for a while now. I've heard an albums worth of his songs on youtube, he seems to be a VERY great musician indeed.

if cyou can find it, watch the Pearl Jam documentary "TWENTY". Apart from being a great documentary about Pearl Jam, it covers a huge chunk of the grunge movement in general, and also ticks off the relationship between Pearl Jam and Neil Young. Well worth it, even if one don't like grunge ^^

Ha, believe me mate, as soon as twenty came out here, I had to get it. I've seen it probably 20 times since then. PJ are probably my favourite band after all.

You should try going into the upper range of your voice now and again, just for variety's sake.

What distortion pedal are you using? It sounds muffy.

I liked it, including the vocal. Nobody else said Lou Reed but I hear some of that in there, very nice, keep playing and singing!

I was thinking the same thing, but I couldn't remember whether or not I had said that the last time.

I'm trying to do a couple covers with a friend.

I can't listen because my soundcard burnt out.

I'm really shy with my voice, and considering that was the first time I played that song, I didn't know what to do with it.

And I'm using a Electro Hqrmonix Big Muff, of course
