yeah it's definatly a natural high playing in front of people and it's a great feeling when your whole band is in the "zone" or that little wave length of music that the whole band can exist in... it's a fun time

Now you are on your way to becoming a rock star. Great to hear all went well for you and your band mates. I hope you get to book more gigs very soon.

Sorry, can't help you on that one. I was with a band for 5 years, and we were dumb-founded about how to get our selves marketed back then. We did originals and practiced hard. Played out a bit, but just couldn't get noticed other than those of our fans who followed us. I am sure others here will be able to help.

I alway's get into the party. Keep in mind that you're driving the energy level of the show. It's all about attitude, if you play with the attitude that you're going to make sure these folks are going to have the best time of their lives then you have just greased your own wheels.
And that is the point where you have to just cut loose and set their minds on fire!
Your best music is inside you, just launch it like the space shuttle and you'll leave with everyones head just a hummin' !!!

I hope to start a band soon. I can't wait for my first gig. Most I've done is sang Blitzkrieg Bop at a talent show with a band behind me. That was so much fun. People were really getting into it. I can't imagine how sweet it would be to play guitar in front of people and just rock the joint.
