We finally finished a 6 day/6 town whirlwind cross province road/plane trip to recruit new members to help establish satellite chapters on our Chronic Pain Association.I'm glad to say that we got positive feedback and support everywhere we went and as of Sept. our group will be province wide. The medical communities in every town were very receptive and glad to get on board and several hospitals also agreed to make rooms in their facilities available for meetings with several doctors even volunteering to facilitate the meetings. The government made some money available for this trip and we hope that they open their purses a bit more in the coming year so that we can visit these towns for their inaugral meetings.About 20% of our population suffers from chronic pain of some sort so a support network is in dire need for sure.

In the meantime, did I miss anything in the past few days? I knew that Donna Summer and Duck Dunn had passed away and woke up this morning to hear that the last remaining Gibb brother-Robin,had passed away-a sad week in music indeed.

OOPS!!!I'm glad to know that Barry never snuffed it too,I heard on the news this morning that he sat by Robin's bedside and sang to him during his final hours, something a corpse would find very difficult to do.
