just placed an order for a warmoth neck for a partscaster I am throwing together :P

Construction: Warmoth Pro
Scale: 25-1/2 in.
Shaft Wood: Bubinga.
Fingerboard Wood: Dark Rosewood
Orientation: Right Handed
Nut Width: 1 11/16"
Back Shape: Boatneck
Radius: 10-16" compound
# of Frets: 21
Fret Size: SS6115 (Stainless)
Tuner Ream: Vintage Style (11/32")
Inlays: Cream Face Dots
Pre-Cut Installed String Nut: White Corian
Mounting Holes: Standard 4 Bolt

wanted to try something without a finish so i am giving Bubinga a shot.
I plan on trying it out on my hot rod to see what the tonal changes are.
i will update when i get it

anyone else here ever play a Bubinga neck on a guitar?

Sounds interesting. Have you used stainless steel frets before?

yea i have a carvin dc with SS frets. they feel amazing! there is an ever so slight tinny sound with them> but its a maple maple neck through. i think the rosewood and bubinga will remedy this. we will see

It's cool to see folks venture outside the norm. Look forward to seeing how it works out.
