What's your favorite special edition/ limited run guitar? I have a sweet Gibson SG-3 with single coils that was made during their "Guitar of the Week" thing back in 2007. I met a guy the other day who let me play his Gibson Les Paul "Goddess" (pink burst, Seymour Duncan PAF Anniversary humbuckers, light/thin body, thin neck; very sweet guitar).

I've seen paisley Fenders, artist limited run models, and several other guitars designed to break the monotony of standard models. So what's your favorite? Own it?

theres currently a MIM strat on ebay that was an FSR for somebody, i saw it yesterday and was pretty tempted, but its not really what im after. it was HSH, the single being a tele neck pup. satin/teflon type finish charcoal grey with matching headstock and black plastic, RW board. looked proper understated and nice. i have a strat with the same type of finish and its soooo nice to touch and hold.

This is my favorite. Solid mahogany sculpted body in trans-red, set neck, Dimarzio humbuckers, coil tap, hardtail bridge, bound body, bound rosewood neck and painted headstock. I wish I'd had the money to buy the trans-amber, too.

I only have one electric, but I love it. My "band of gypsies" strat. Very slim neck, plays wonderfully, now if I was only a better player. I've seriously thought of selling it because my talent doesn't warrant such a nice guitar but can't do it.

I had one of those Special Edition Koa Strats. It was the nicest looking strat I've ever owned and I should've kept it. I'll post a photo this afternoon.

CR, I have a friend with that guitar. Very nice, it's got a great tone. He doesn't play it much, sadly, I think he's looking to sell it. :?

Well, maybe his loss should be your gain. I don't think the world is going to see that guitar again and it was a limited special run.

Here is mine...a one year only '04 50th Anniversary Gold Strat...saw this one shinning in a store, played it and bought it on the spot. Great V neck and sweet Alnico pickups!

And you all need to post some pics...this post was made for it :!:

Hello Mac67. If I had to choose a favorite special edition Fender solid body electric guitar, it would be this Jaguar: Image . I do not own one at this time.
