Why not? It looks cool, and if you like the sound and feel, that should be all that matters...

Thanks for asking Tbazz....It's a Japanese made Fresher FT-450. I've been questioning the model number lately because the other 450's I've seen have a 3 piece body. The one's I have, have a 2 piece center matched ash body.

Fresher's are know as one of those MIJ companies that produced junk during the 70's but they steadily improved up until the early 80's before they went $@!& up :)

Both these guitars, to my knowledge, were produced in '81. When I got my first one, I brought it to Guitslinger's(because he's awesome!), and he said it's one of the best tele's that he's ever heard. One of my guitar hero's is my uncle, he has a 67 Fender tele, I put my fresher head to head against his 67 and the 67 came out just a fraction ahead of the Fresher. I perfered the Fresher only because of the thicker and wider neck.

I've been told that I may be the only person in North America(remain's to be seen, and probably never proven) to have 2 of these gems...I obviously take this with a grain of salt but it's a nice thought all the same. That being said, I bought the only 2 I've ever seen.

They both get played every day and will be gigged and jammed as much as possible....no case queens under this roof :D

Some more members of my own singles club - guitars I picked up last December...

Never mind that Showmaster Strat or that LTD PB-401, they just snuck into the picture! That guitar in the very back is a late 70s Aria Pro II, a lovely guitar to play! I stumbled onto it at the local M-G-R, bought it for a very foolish $59! They goofed on that one!

As you walked out the door with the Aria, the guy at the register called his boss and said "We just so ripped a guy off."

And god damn, the fourth to last one. Would want more close ups of it if possible.
