Ahh. Pricey! I'm guessing it was above $2500, no?

I may look into a vintage one eventually, maybe when I'm older and have more room. I'm thinking somewhere between 75 and 79 would be an obtainable year that won't completely break me. Also looking at a lot of Aria guitars, you have anything on those?? Like any personal experience.

Yea there costly but worth it to me anyways. If you can find a Lawsuit era Aria Les Paul they were great guitars. I owned one back in 1975 and it was as good as any Gibson Ive ever owned.

I was talking a vintage Strat or Tele, but those sound awesome. I found an Aria SG for a decent price as well.

I have mixed feelings on vintage guitars. In the 70's I wasn't a strat fan but I liked teles. The teles of the 70's were nice but I didn't like strats. For me it was Les Pauls and telecasters. I had a very nice 74 tele and loved it.

I'm just on the lookout for a hardtail Strat. those seemed to be the most common during the 70s.

That's really cool, and a guitar to be proud of...love the "do-it-yourself" asthetic as well as the realistically "used" not "aged"...very cool! 8)

I see why. That blue is a really nice color. That's nice just to look at imo. Probs sounds amazing.

Would you two like to be alone somewhere?
