Just out of interest, what does it mean when at the bottom of the page (where it shows which members are online and browsing this forum) it lists `google (bot)` as one of them?

My more tech savvy side leads me to believe im being ridiculous... But for a second i wonderred if this is where the spam posts sometimes come from?

I need some IT expert give it to me straight, i can take it :D Buxom?

You wouldnt believe i used to be an IT trainer, ah its amazing what being an expert blagger can get you..... How i learnt guitar for a start!!

Search engines (bots) crawl sites to update their index(es). You need to thank them next time you use a search engine to find anything! :D

Olly, good thing you switched to guitar. I am hoping getting rid of useless information like this will some day allow me to do the same! :D

Cheers -

Nutter

I thought "what is a google-bot", too. Thanks Bros for clearing that up. :D

I actually think made in Japan and Crafted in Japan stuff is better than MIA.
Fender really knows this and they won't sell Japan stuff to Americans.
Take the color surf green for an example. Surf Green on Fender Japan instruments actually looks green. The surf Green on American and Mexican made Fender instruments looks either white or faint blue NOT green. I like the tinted gloss Fender Japan uses on the neck and headstock too. It give it a nice vintage look. Some also have painted headstocks to match the bodies of the guitars.
I should start my own thread about this....

I'm sorry, what does the color have to do with the sound of the instrument?
