Make sure you can hear the tracks! I went second in the competition and the track levels weren't right. I couldn't hear anything but myself and I didn't make it past the first round. I couldn't really stop and tell the judges to turn it up because the song would've been over by the time I finished talking with them. To be fair, the players that one were good players. Best of luck Slinger!

Rebecca did a great job. She made no mistakes, but this was not her year. The guy that won was from Georgia, Ricco (I don't remember the last name). He produced the WOW factor that seems to get the win. Rebecca played it a little bit too safe considering the competition was so good. There was another guy, Jason ??? that put on quite a show also. Bonamassa played a full set at the end, which was a real surprise. Dr. John did a great show and came out to play organ with Bonamassa. I have a bunch of video, but it will take me a while to edit it. I have to do it at my office when I don't have work to do. Like that ever happens.
P.S. The Forumcaster looked and sounded great and will get lots of exposure on Youtube.

Thank you so much for updating I googled a few times today and had no luck..I agree with the forum..You are a winner! The simple fact that you obviously love music and are so good is a prize you get to keep every single day! I hope eventually someone posts a couple pictures . Way to go!!

Hey Rebecca, congrats on your 2012 journey so far into the blues. We are all proud of what you have accomplished so far and it's not over until it's over. Keep on the good work, now we want more good vibes from you because you have the rare gift to be able to come up with good ideas musically. Please keep us posted on your future plans. A few pictures would be nice too, if you have any.
Claude.

I can't edit it with my laptop, so here is my shaky camcorder video from the nose bleed section. We had a choice, either stand on the floor for 4 hours, or sit in the upper balcony behind the VIP's. Hopefully Rebecca won't mind that I posted this. Guitar Center will be posting high quality video in about a month, but this will have to do till then.
