Congratulations Rebecca! You're going to enjoy your time in L.A. I've lived here since '71, and it's pretty low key compared to most other large cities I've been to. Just try not to drive too much. We have some major road construction projects going on and the traffic can suck the life out of you quick. I have tickets for the finals, so I'll be in the crowd rooting for you!

Go Rebecca! I'm not going to our regionals to watch. It would be two hours of driving each way through some of the worse traffic L.A. has to offer. But, I'll be at the finals next month!

In that case I'll see you there! I just won the Regional Finals! So I will be at the Grand Finals in L.A. after all! It's going to be my first time on a plane, and the first time I've been far enough away from Texas that I'll have an accent. :P I'm really excited and I kind of can't believe it, it's still not sunken in yet. I'll also be playing the Forum Caster that all of y'all helped build. :D

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! We are all so proud of you girl!!! It is an honor that you'll be playing the Forum Caster! I'll bet your parents and relatives are also proud. Good luck and knock em dead Girl!!! 8) :)

Nice one Beck, I'm sure you'll do as well in LA. Go out there and show them how it's done in TEXAS. 8)

Thanks! :D Some of you might remember four years ago when I competed and won the store finals. And that subsequent comment war on youtube. I was just thinking how that feels like ages ago now. I definitely wouldn't have imagined actually getting this far back then. Heck, I couldn't imagine getting this far three months ago!

Good luck to you! I will look into maybe attending the event if I can get tickets and such. I live in So Cal. I view these contests as being a little if-eey at times. I've seen very talented sent away and, people with nothing getting put on a throne, so please don't let it get you down if they pick some ya-hoo over yourself or, over some other that has what it takes! God bless and, the best of luck! Go knock them out! Be yourself, no pressure!

I just stumbled across this (late to the party as usual), but I just had to chime in with my own congratulations.

Becks, you continue to do Texas proud! 8)

Holy crap TGS, I'm very proud of you girl , I didn't compete
at all this year, but I'm nowhere near as talented as you.
This is your year, sorry I'm so late to congratulate.
For what it's worth, you already !!!
I'm so very excited for you.
I've seen your vids from 4 yrs to now,
You were great then and your great now.
Major Texas BST Mojo headed your way.
