If you've been following along, 2 months ago I added a section about Bob Bain's 1953 Telecaster that Tiny Timbrell had modified by installing a Humbucker and Bigsby B16 bridge. Well yesterday Jay Timbrell was going through some more of his dad's things and found what we beleive to be the parts removed from Bob's Tele. We've updated the page with photos, and one from Tracy Longo also since the photogrpaher from VG mag wasn't happy about using the picture of it or plugging the issue.

check it out again at http://scottymoore.net/epm_prop50sTele.html#BB
Thanks,
Jim

PS Jay also found another PAF Humbucker that may have been acquired in a pair when he put in Bob's, and also an old Charlie Christian pickup. Not sure whose that came out of.

Fun info James. As I look at the picture, the Bigsby on the Tele that Elvis is holding, looks different around the bridge pickup than the photo of Bob's Tele. It could just be the angle of the photo.
