On the demo Happy World, the song Hit The Floor was about a stage dive the singer did. The people in the audience thought it would be funny to move out of the way. My mom was at that show and described it vividly. Anyways, I thought I'd share this, it was pretty cool to me.

I must say, I really enjoy this stuff.

Cool story Buxom. 8)

I was into thrash metal way back, probably around the same time as your mom. I hadn't heard of these guys, but listening to the clip you posted brought back memories of the time when this music was getting big.

If you are starting to explore the genre, here are a few tracks I would consider to be classics, outside of the big 4:

Testament - Trial by Fire: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddA_NEm6nbc
Metal Church - Metal Church: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6fLN0Nypji8
Exodus - Bonded by Blood: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ClBkyLehIBU

Not exactly just getting into metal. My mom just showed me some of the bands she was friends with and I shared them. She was friends with another band called Child's Play that got really big, blew it, got back together 20 years later, and sold out every show. They would have been huge, but unfortunately, they just lost their singer to a heart attack 3 weeks ago I think.

I just bought my mom an original copy of this CD for mother's day, considering she lost the one the drummer gave her back in the 90s. She loves it. Honestly, this band kicked $@!.
