Stratocaster.

The Tele's sound is for different types of music than I prefer.

SO many think that, but i can get about any sound out of one, and drop a sd pearly gates in the bridge and i can even get some serious heavy sounds out of it too, i think a tele is so underrated

Hey, they are both very good guitars it just depends on what you are playing. But I prefer the Telecaster.

Stratocaster.

Stratocasters are in my opinion modern art. It's not just that I prefer them to the Teles, which are fine, it's that I prefer them to all other guitars, including acoustics which when amplified just sound like a Strat played clean. With the Strat, Leo and George had a kind of lightning stroke of inspiration drawing on earlier creations like the Tele and basses to create a new kind of guitar.

I think that both have their merits. I prefer a Tele as I think that it's like the Swiss knife of all guitars, but sometimes you can't get away with playing something without a Strat. Overall, I think this question is like asking about apples and oranges!

I don't have a Tele yet...but that should be coming within a year!!! I do love my Strats.....and I fell in love with this one Tele when I played it!!! sooooo I guess it all depends on what mood i'm in, what I want to play...all that good stuff!!! haha

With cdub66. Both. Which case is opened is mood-dependant.

Hard to believe that nobody has ever thought to ask this burning question until now.
